Zacchaeus and the Tree

Zacchaeus.

Use a paper towel tube, string, a toy figure or clothespin decorated like a
man. The tree top could be felt or paper. Tie a large knot instead of using the bead.

Gather your supplies. You will need a paper towel tube, a piece of string or yarn, a male toy
figure, green tissue paper, tape and scissors.

Cut a slit on each side of the paper towel tube at the top.

Run string through top of paper towel tube.

Tie one end of the string around "Zacchaeus" and tie a knot in the other end so it will not pull
through the slit in the paper towel tube.

Tape green tissue paper in the top of the paper towel tube for the top of the tree.

Finished product! You can talk about Zacchaeus or sing the song and have him climb up the tree
so he could get a closer look at Jesus!
